SPOT climbing gym

SPOT climbing wall is the largest bouldering wall in Slovakia. As of May 2025, it offered 1,000 m² of climbing area, which continues to expand. The main bouldering wall is located on the ground floor of the centre, with additional climbing profiles on the upper floor.

The wall was designed as a modern bouldering centre with profiles for different levels and styles of climbing. The climbing area features a large number of regularly changing boulders and climbing routes. The centre also includes a Kilter Board with illuminated climbing holds, a campus board and several freestanding workout stations made from simple wooden truss structures. There is also a dedicated kids’ area with a small climbing wall, slide, foam pit with foam blocks and a tunnel.

The bouldering wall structure is made of wooden trusses. The wall cladding consists of 18 mm thick plywood panels manufactured using CNC technology. At SPOT, we chose a transparent finish that preserves the natural grain of the plywood. The transparent surfaces are complemented by light grey and light green sections, creating the wall’s distinctive appearance.

Our work also included the carpeted impact-absorbing flooring. Protective plywood edging was installed around its perimeter to stabilise the edges of the landing area.

The project was later expanded with a 10-metre-high climbing wall with a slight incline for roped climbing, equipped with five new auto-belays.
